Problem:

People hear power tools, projects, and labor and instantly think it’s not for them. They are unaware of the resources and knowledge that are available to make things happen for themselves. They just need to get the tool in their hand.

Solution:

Get people out and about. Community is what pushes us forward; it’s a friend recommending a song, or a family member recommending a recipe. People help people push themselves. We created festivals for fixing things so people would get the tool in their hand and give it a go.
